Cobra in my backyard

The fun part was when people asked me for photos in the conventional cobra position with hood stiff upright :) Further it’s more funny when ppl ask me if it has been killed. Why should it be killed? If it is enjoying the secluded mangrove filled areas let’s leave it alone. If it crosses over across the building fences then the best option would be to call either a snake catcher, fire brigade or Hopkins to get it relocated.

Googling gave me snake relocators around my area. Oh! there are lots of ppl working to save animals. Kailash Darole has been specifically referred to me by my outdoor specialist friend to rescue snakes around my area. Check out his website the photo on the cover page of his book is mind-boggling – look at the size of that snake.

On a side note :)
The Indian Cobra commands a very popular position. Within 5 mins of tweeting this link I got about 6 clicks around the world :)
