Searched history to find if there were instances where the Brahmins of the great Varna System moved from their natural seats and stepped in to handle the mis-handled administration. The wise have taken the administrative strength in hand ONLY when required. Bal Gangadhar Tilak was asked what post will he pick in Independent India. He said, he will take up a job as a Mathematics teacher in a school and breed next generation. He was clear that his whole idea of getting into the struggle was Independence for his country men and nothing more than it. Tilak as you know has written a commentary on Bhagwat Gita among other works.
NOTE : Varna system is not the stupid Caste System of today. Feeling the need to clarify a bit here. In Varna system, every body is a born Shudra and moves to other Varnas depending upon the aptitude. So a child who exhibits very sublime intellect moved to the Brahmin clad(teacher/advisory system), a child exhibiting administrative and killer instincts moves to the security system(Kshatriyas), a child exhibiting business acumen moved to business administration(Vaishyas). The children were thus groomed(trained in Gurukuls for economics/archery/study of self/fine arts/mathematics/astrophysics/health-sciences / metallurgy/ nautical-sciences/ Neo-Logic/ Grammar/ etc) according to their natural tendencies. The teachers/deans of the Gurukuls were the highest order of Intellectuals within the community who commanded respect from the rulers.
Numerous modern world examples prove the logic behind the Varna system. A son of a laborer becomes an IAS officer. A son of a seasoned politician becomes a havoc in society since even when he didn’t process the administrative acumen of his father he was denied neither the power nor the prosperity he naturally inherited.
Googling over the topic landed me to Baba Ramdevji’s Bharat Svabhiman website(read wiki for details) and these opening lectures are very very daring ones. One Rajiv Dixit opens up the pandora. They have the flair and determinacy of an Indigenous and Strong India. I got to know here that even after Independence the Budget used to be presented at 5pm in the evening so that it’s a comfortable time for the British to watch it’s proceedings, can this be really true?
The last part of Ajay Kanchan’s talk gives a summary of the why the particular BT Cotton being used in the last 3 years is deadly for fauna around. It educates us on how the BT variant when consumed by cattle destroys the helpful bacteria within the stomach and intestines and thus diminishing the digestion capacity of the animal.

Pauranic history names Parashurama :
The history search is on, probably need to go further back. Should we start with Prashurama who being the son of the great Sage Jamadagni took the Axe to clear all the Kshatriayas(Rulers) around the planet 21 times.
Recent documented history names a Kautilya :
Looking back around 300 BC, we see the rise of another smart Pundit into Statesmanship – Chanakya. My generation grew up watching the Chanakya TV series directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi which was originally telecast onDoordarshan in 1991-92. The wikipedia on the TV series speaks of how the Dr. who himself enacts as the Chanakya, spent some 9 years researching over the politician of all times. It further clarifies that the TV series has no masala added in it unlike today’s representations of the Itihaas and Puranas. You must be knowing that Chanakya was teaching in the once the world renowned university of Taxasila. The ChandraGupta Maurya in the making got his training there. The young ChandraGupta got to meet Alexandar, the Great in Taxasila itself.
Somewhere in 2008 Dr. Dwivedi worked on the Upanishad Ganga series produced by Chinmaya Mission. The TV series on specific characters of the various Upanishads brings to the masses the glimpse of the Uttara Mimamsic treaties through the popular medium of education. You will get to see the famous Nachiketa among others.
Still searching, let me know of such events you know or heard of.
