Amazing to hear what the Adventure sport discoverer says about it. One of them talks of how this sport gives an experiential learning of being boxed in thinking. Even if a commoner cannot walk on water, the sport suggests one can at least attempt to run over it.

BATA sells a Weinbrenner brand of hiking shoes which are water resistant similar to one provided by Adidas about a few years back. It is netted over most of the visible area as shown in this video. These are very good for the monsoon treks on the Sahayadri. It’s good for temperatures above 10 degree Celsius. Lower temperatures will tempt you to wear woolen socks.
